The little boy in this cartoon is 3-year old Nathan.  He would get really excited and begin to stutter and one day he ran to tell his mom about something he had seen, but got stuck.   His mom said encouragingly, “Relax, Nathan, spit it out.” So he stopped stuttering and spit on the ground!

This cartoon is based on 4 year old Jet DeVettori and his mom, Gina.  Prior to this meal, Gina had been a vegetarian for about 12 years.  She decided to start eating chicken again, but her son’s questions about the “dead chicken” made her seriously re-think the decision!
